RPGs of the Week: The Day After Edition

So RPGs of the Week is a little late this week, due almost entirely to Canadian Thanksgiving (from whence I just returned). The next few days are looking a little hectic for me, so I apologize in advance that I might not be able to keep up with absolutely every bit of news this week.

However, enough of my personal gripings. Behold the RPGs that are available for your consumer moneys this week (October 13-17, 2008).

North America
Dokapon Kingdom - Sting, Atlus - PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii
Golden Axe: Beast Rider - Secret Level, Sega - Xbox 360, PlayStation 3
Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 - Tose, D3 - Nintendo DS
Secret of Mana - Square Enix - WVC

Japan
AWAY: Shuffle Dungeon - Mistwalker, Artoon, AQ Interactive - Nintendo DS
Culdcept DS - Omiya Soft, Sega - Nintendo DS
Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaiki da or2 - Acquire, SCEJ - PSP

Europe
Golden Axe: Beast Rider - Secret Level, Sega - Xbox 360, PlayStation 3
Persona 3: FES - Atlus, Koei - PlayStation 2

North America parties it up this week with Dokapon Kingdom (too bad I don't have any friends that would play this with me), fetches yet another Naruto RPG spin-off, and gets that Virtual Console release of Secret of Mana.

Japan gets a Culdcept title for the DS that hardly anyone cares about (sadly), the neo-retro YnKnNdo2, and Mistwalker's last actively in-development project, AWAY. (Hopefully this means they'll be announcing something soon, since they utterly failed to appear at TGS at all.)

Meanwhile Europe finally gets P3: FES, which is good news for those who missed the original P3, and will likely be a nice thing for fans looking to expand the experience.

Also, Tyris Flare's ass is riding monsters in both North America and Europe this week in the not-at-all-faithful-to-the-original Golden Axe title.

Anything looking sweet to you this week?
