XSEED Announces its Marvelous E3 Lineup

The (relatively) newer Japanese-to-North America game publisher XSEED (who brought us all of the Wild ARMs games since 4) has recently announced additions to their scheduled E3 showcase. With their recent partnership with the Japanese publisher Marvelous, few of these titles will be a surprise.

Hands-on
Little King's Story - Nintendo Wii
Valhalla Knights 2 - PSP

Eyes-on
Avalon Code - Nintendo DS
Rune Factory: Frontier - Nintendo Wii

In addition to these RPGs, XSEED has also announced a few other games, including DS music synthesizer KORG DS-10 from AQ Interactive.

A couple of things strike me as curious with these announcements. (1) Avalon Code is not available even in Japan yet. With this announcement as well as Majesco's AWAY: Shuffle Dungeon announcement, it seems like there are efforts being made to bring Japanese DS content over in smaller timeframes. (2) Rune Factory: Frontier is coming from XSEED, not Natsume. If you'll recall, Natsume has had a long-standing agreement with Marvelous to bring all of their Harvest Moon games stateside. Though the Rune Factory sub-series is certainly unique from the orthodox Harvest Moon games, it still seems like it would qualify as a title Natsume would want to hang on to, especially considering they are bringing over Rune Factory 2 on DS... And (3), KORG is coming over???? Wow.
