Marvelous Entertainment USA and XSEED Games have just announced that their upcoming PSP dungeon crawler, Valhalla Knights 2, has just gone gold and will be shipping to retailers in North America on October 1, 2008.Developed by K2 (most prominently known for their work on FromSoftware's Tenchu series), Valhalla Knights 2 is the follow-up to their first foray into RPGs back in 2006. The original Valhalla Knights was met with a decidedly mediocre reception, but apparently sold well enough in Japan to warrant a "The Best" reprint.
I remember being really excited when the first game was announced, but that enthusiasm slowly died out the more I learned about the game. So, will VH2 be able to right what was wrong with the original? Do you even care?
