RPGs of the Week: All Over the Map Edition

Another week, another set of new RPGs. This week's releases are all spread out, without a particular theme.

Below are all the releases on all major platforms across all major regions for the week of September 8-13, 2008.

North America
Mazes of Fate DS - Sabarasa, Graffiti - Nintendo DS
Zoids Assault - Takara Tomy, Atlus - Xbox 360

Japan
Pocket Monsters Platina - Game Freak, Nintendo - Nintendo DS
Seiken Densetsu II - Square Enix - WVC
Infinite Undiscovery - tri-Ace, Square Enix - Xbox 360

Europe
Dragon Quest: The Chapters of the Chosen - ArtePiazza, Square Enix - Nintendo DS
Two Worlds: Epic Edition - Reality Pump, SouthPeak - PC
Opoona - ArtePiazza, Koei - Nintendo Wii

Europe does well for itself this week by beating North America to the punch on Dragon Quest IV (by a few days). It also snags Opoona and Two Worlds, which is, um, cool I guess.

North America gets Atlus' third SRPG for the 360 this year, as well as an old school hack-n-slash dungeon crawler for the DS.

Japan gets some heavy-hitters with Infinite Undiscovery, Secret of Mana on the Virtual Console, and yet another Pokemon title. Can you guess which one will sell the most? If you said anything besides Pokemon, you need a harsh reality check.

I'll be picking up Zoids Assault purely out of respect for Atlus. I doubt I'll be playing it anytime soon, though. Anything looking promising to you this week?

No way, Secret of Mana on the Virtual Console!? That is awesome! I hope we get it in the USA too.
