Sega Announces Phantasy Star Zero

So after Sega announced Shining Force Feather for DS last week, I thought to myself "Phantasy Star for PSP and Shining Force for DS. Makes sense, I guess." But Sega, those sneaky devils, not to be outdone by themselves, have gone ahead and announced another portable iteration of their Phantasy Star IP for Nintendo DS.

Phantasy Star Zero (abreviated as PS0) is apparently a DS MMO following the console tradition of Phantasy Star Online (abreviated as PSO).

As with other MMOs, players will be able to create their character and go on quests with their friends, all without ever seeing said friends! Ah yes, how technology has improved our lives.

Phantasy Star Zero is set to release in Japan on Nintendo DS sometime this Winter. Cutting it a little close, are we Sega?

You can check out the scans below. I will translate the article if there is enough interest.
