Sega released the debut trailer for their next DS imageepoch RPG (man those guys are busy lately), 7th Dragon, headed by Rieko Kodama (Skies of Arcadia) and Kazuya Niino (Etrian Odyssey).
...And it's kind of really weird. I watched it the whole time thinking, "What the hell were they going for here?" Super deformed characters super-imposed on home videos of someone who did an art pilgimage around Europe? Who gave that the green light?
Anyhow, take a watch and let me know what you think.
Also, note the lack of any actual in-game footage. Worrisome.
