RPG Maker Coming to XNA

I don't know how many of you are in the know regarding Microsoft's XNA Creators' Club on Xbox Live, but in a nutshell, it's a service that you pay an annual fee to join, which lets you develop your own games and sell them on Xbox Live Arcade for real moneys.

There are already various tools available to would-be developers, but apparently Enterbrain is planning on releasing some of its Maker games on the system, including the newest addition to its RPG Maker series (probably its best known and most popular series).

So far there is no release date for the program, and it is currently unclear if it will be RPG Maker VX or something new. Regardless, this is cool news for any budding RPG developers in our midst.

As a note, Enterbrain's Action Game Maker (Akushon Geemu Tsukuuru) will be available first on XNA, coming out in Japan on December 12, 2008.

I'll keep you updated as I learn more. Thanks to XNEWS for the tip.

You can check out Enterbrain's Japanese site here.
