Perhaps the funniest part of the whole "every frickin' game is on DS" movement is that trailers for the games try to pretend like they actually aren't DS games. They throw around a lot of artwork, CG/anime scenes, some kind of theme song for 90% of the video to get you thinking "Hey, this looks neat," all the while burying a couple of actual in-game scenes somewhere in the middle.
Well, Marvelous' new trailer for Matrix-developed Avalon Code is no different. Give it a watch and see if you can spot the actual game footage somewhere within the beautiful hand-crafted montage. It's kind of like Where's Waldo, only more depressing.
Avalon Code will be available in Japan on October 16, 2008, with a no-date-confirmed-yet North American release courtesy XSEED Games.
