Touch My Suikoden

Remember when Konami trademarked a new Suikoden title? Well it looks like Suikoden Tierkreis is very real and very much closer to being done that I initially imagined.

Konami announced Suikoden Tierkreis for Nintendo DS via the latest issue of Famitsu. Though the game currently has no official release date, the game looks to be at later stages of development and will likely see release sometime within the next 6 months (that's just a guess).

Suikoden Tierkreis will feature 108 different recruitable characters and large scale battles. I'm not too sure on if or how the DS's touch screen will be implemented.

This is quite an interesting development as it marks the Suikoden franchise's first departure from the PlayStation brand (where it started). Funny though, you probably won't hear "KONAMI BETRAYED SONY!!!1!" or see any petitions for this game.
