If you live in Japan and pre-ordered the recently released The Last Remnant on Xbox 360, you would have received a nifty little disc with a bunch of stuff on it. Among that stuff you would have found the opening video to tri-Ace and Square Enix's next upcoming Xbox 360 RPG, Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope.
But what if you don't live in Japan, or didn't get around to pre-ordering? Don't worry. Via the magic of the internet, the video has been leaked for all of your watching enjoyment. Also, it's embedded below:
While interesting, I was a little disappointed with the opening, mostly because it shows scenes we've already seen through the last few trailers. Also, it doesn't feature any of the playable characters. Just backstory.
Nevertheless, the game still looks sweet.
Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope will be available on Xbox 360 in Japan on February 19, 2009, and in North America on March 03, 2009. The European date has yet to be announced.
