D3 Announces Tactislayer

The video game industry is always looking to expand, to broaden its horizons, to push the creative envelope. Well D3 Publisher of Japan and Ninja Studio (makers of the Izuna series, among other games) have teamed up to create Tacticslayer: Litinagard Senki (Record of the Litinagard War).

Tacticslayer finally merges the worlds of cosplay and SPRGing together into one convenient package, urging players to "Dress up girls and fight," a catch phrase so inspiring, so epic, that it is a incredible that it hasn't been coined sooner.

Described by the developers as a "Cosplay Battle Tactics Simulator," Tacticslayer follows the exploits of several high school girls as they battle to save the mysterious world of Litinagard. Also, they can wear a lot of different clothes.

For those interested in knowing more, here is the debut article on Famitsu, as well as D3's official page for the game.

Tactislayer: Litinagard Senki will be available on Nintendo DS in Japan sometime this winter. If it ever gets localized in North America, I promise to pre-order 2 copies out of complete disbelief.
