If you have been spending the last few weeks lovingly cradling your pre-order for the upcoming PSP port of Star Ocean 2, I'm afraid I may have some slightly disappointing news for you.Square Enix announced this morning that Star Ocean: Second Evolution has been pushed back to January 20, 2009 - 2 weeks later than its original January 6, 2009 release date.
While this isn't the biggest delay of all time, it may mean some of you will have to pick something else to play at the tail end of Christmas break (assuming it goes that long).
Square Enix has not disclosed the reason for the delay at this time.
