Have a New Destiny Links Trailer

Namco Bandai has recently released a new trailer for their upcoming "be anyone" RPG for the Nintendo DS, Destiny Links. The game takes some cues from other online multiplayer DS RPGs like Soma Bringer and Ragnarok Online DS, and looks like it might make for some good times.

...At least, good as far as DS standards go.

Watch away!

Hey, look! Someone making an RPG on the DS in 2D! I approve! ^_^b (Well, at least of the graphics style choice for the machine in question.)

Destiny Links will be available for Nintendo DS on February 5, 2009 in Japan. No word on a North American or European release.

Destiny Links Debut Trailer

Remember that other other Namco Bandai DS RPG? Destiny Links? It's that one that's like... um... an RPG, or something? Wait, what were we talking about?

Oh yeah. Namco Bandai just released the first trailer for Destiny Links, featuring cool cell-shaded 3D models that you'll never get to play as in the game. On the upside, the game is completely 2D, and doesn't look bad! Yay!

Destiny Links will be available on Nintendo DS in Japan sometime this winter. There is no word on a European or North American release.

Namco Bandai Wants to Link your Destiny

Co-op play seems to be the theme of this week's RPG announcements, and Namco Bandai wants to get in on the fun with Destiny Links for the Nintendo DS.

Destiny Links is an action-RPG that puts you in control of one of at least 4 different allies (all of whom are currently nameless) as you explore and take on jobs from townspeople. You can play with up to three people at once over DS Wi-Fi.

Destiny Links will be available in Japan sometime this winter (along with like every other RPG they've announced). There is currently no word on North American or European localization.

I will take translation requests below once some legible scans hit the interwebs.
