Pre-Order Rune Factory 2, Get a ....Squirrel?

Natsume has announced that as a gift to those fans who pre-order a copy of their upcoming action-RPG / farming-RPG hybrid, Rune Factory 2, they will be giving away plush squirrels.

I have no idea why they are giving away plush squirrels, or why a gamer would or would not want one, or why the squirrel looks suspiciously like a rabbit, but that's the low-down.

This "rare, collectable" squirrel is only available to those who pre-order their game from Amazon.com, so yeah. Go pre-order it, I guess?

Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon will be available November 18, 2008 in North America.

E3 2008: Natsume Farm Round-up

Natsume knows which side its bread is buttered on, and that side is called Harvest Moon. Though they occasionally throw something else into the mix (read "River King"), Natsume pretty well exclusively releases Harvest Moon titles. Thus, it really shouldn't surprise anyone that their E3 presence in 2008 was completely about Harvest Moon.

Check out the coverage (that I neglected up til now) below.
