Not really "news" per se, but for those of you interested, Dengeki has just released the boxart for Atlus' upcoming DS MegaTen SRPG, Megami Ibunroku: Devil Survivor.
Lots of red there. Yep.
...Aaaand, that's pretty much all I got.
Megami Ibunroku: Devil Survivor will be available on Nintendo DS in Japan on January 15, 2009. No word yet on a North American or European release.
P.S. Those cat-ear things on the main character's head still look ridiculous. Am I the only one that thinks this?

I wonder if Atlus USA will rebrand this "Persona: Devil Survivor" or otherwise try to market it as a Persona game.
Hmm, that's an interesting thought.
However, I'm going to say that they will probably rebrand it as "Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor," as they tend to rebrand all MegaTen spinoffs as such lately. And really, other than the more anime-style character designs, Devil Survivor actually has more in common with the mainstream MegaTen games than the Persona sub-series.
Even the Persona games are renamed to Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, etc. in North America these days.
(this should be in the above post. stupid lack of edit post...)
