Meet Some Friendly Faces from The Last Story

The latest issue of Jump has revealed three new friendly characters from Mistwalker and Nintendo's upcoming action-RPG, The Last Story. Since I'm very excited to play The Last Story, I have taken the liberty of translating their (very short) character descriptions.

Quark
Leader of the mercenary band, Quark met Elza at a young age, and works with him as an older brother figure.

Saylen
The mood-maker of the mercenary band, Saylen has a foul mouth, but also possesses a kind and considerate side towards her companions.

Yuris
Though the youngest mercenary in the group, Yuris is a solitary young mage possessing outstanding battle abilities.

Besides Yuris, I think the characters designs for The Last Story are quite cool-looking, and the screens continue to be impressive for a Wii title. Definitely looking forward to this one.

The Last Story will be available for Nintendo Wii sometime this year in Japan.

This (The Last Story) and Xenoblade are what I'm looking forward to! And I'm sure their localization will be handled better than Arc Rise Fantasia was.

I'm afraid you have messed up your copy-paste translation.

Im quite sure you didnt translate it your self.

First of all, you missed one character.

Then, Quark is the last character on the scan (the one you missed)

The main hero's name is Elza

@anonymous:

excuse me, but i am quite sure that i DID translate this myself. Quark is the TOP character in the scan, and a recap of Elza's profile (which was in a previous scan and i had translated earlier) is at the BOTTOM.

yes, Elza is the main character, which is why he and Kanan, the heroine, were in the previous scan. this is also why i chose not to translate it AGAIN.

i lived in Japan for two years, majored in it in University, and have been doing translations for two years on this blog alone (never mind the translations i do for other sites and companies). for proof, you could try clicking the 'translations' label at the bottom of this post.

i'm not quite sure where YOUR pedigree comes from, but its quite obvious that you DON'T read Japanese.

stupidity is frowned upon on the internet, good sir. you'd best remember that when posting accusatory comments.

I thought I could say something about Anonymous and Brandon's comments about Japanese translation.

Brandon is right, Quark is on the top and Elza is at the bottom.

I was born and raised up in Japan most of my life, so it should give me enough credit about Japanese.
