RPGs of the Week: Arc Rising Edition

Hey, there are some new RPGs coming out this week (July 26 - 31, 2010). Check out what they are below.

North America
Arc Rise Fantasia – imageepoch, Ignition – Nintendo Wii
Crystal Monsters – Gameloft – DSiWare

Japan
Agarest Senki Zero: Dawn of War – Compile Heart, Idea Factory – Xbox 360
Metal Max 3 – Enterbrain, Kadokawa – Nintendo DS
Wizardry: Boukyaku no Isan – Genterprise – Nintendo DS

Europe
(none)

North American FINALLY gets Arc Rise Fantasia for the Wii (though I'm told the localization leaves something to be desired), and a DSiWare title that I'd never heard of from Gameloft.

Japan, meanwhile, gets an enhanced 360 port of Agarest Senki Zero, the DS revival of Metal Max, and the newest DS incarnation of Wizardry.

Europe will have to wait for next week, I guess.

Anything for you this week?

definitely on my 'to play' list. too bad about the terrible English voice acting though.

Brandon, I remember when you first announced ARF, translated a few articles and got all the readers hype for it. Like you said, it's on my 'to play' list but the voice acting really ruined the overall atmosphere of the game. I just learned about the Wild Arms series and am currently playing Wild Arms 5, it's so kool!

hey zerolocked, it's been a while!

i'm surprised you've just now discovered Wild ARMs - it was a pretty cool series.

my favourites were definitely Wild ARMs 2 and Wild ARMs 3, but 5 was pretty good too.

damn ur late to the WA party zero lol.

i remember playing the original back in 1997.

damn seems like ages ago....

wild arms could definitely use a reboot.

a new WA on ps3 would be great, but they definitely should ditch the hex system, it wasn't bad, but not really too good either.

wild arms 1 and 2 are some of the best rpg's ever.
