SURPRISING: Idolmaster Character Cameo in Tales of Hearts

Okay, so remember how there are cameo characters in Tales of Hearts? And remember how Namdai said there would be some "surprising" cameos? Well, here's the first: Yayoi Takatsuki from the big-in-Japan idol simulation games The Idolmaster.

Yayoi is the second youngest idol in the series (13 years old) and describes herself as "200% Genki." Scary.

Summoning her in battle apparently unleashes her giant slap attack, or something along those lines. Again, scary stuff.

But I have to take back what I said. I am genuinely surprised that a character from such a non-related IP is making a debut. Perhaps next we'll get the Prince or something?

Tales of Hearts will be available on Nintendo DS in Japan on December 11, 2008.
