RPGs of the Week: The PC Strikes Back Edition

Though console gaming has definitely taken center stage in video gaming over the last decade or so, the PC comes out swinging this week with a hefty lineup of RPGs for North America and Europe. Take a look at what's hitting shelves this week (September 15-20, 2008).

The biggest name this week is probably the Dragon Quest IV remake for Nintendo DS finally hitting North American retailers, straggling well-behind its Japanese and European counterparts.

LaTale, a Lineage II expansion, and Warhammer Online bring the MMO love for those of you into that, while more traditionalists should be interested in Mount & Blade, and perhaps the re-release of Atari's The Witcher.

Fans of obscurity will likely take well to the PSP port of Yggdra Union and the North American debut of Arc System Works' fighter-RPG hybrid for Xbox 360.

Japan feels a little left out this week with nothing but the PS3 port of last year's Eternal Sonata.
